Welcome to our school!

Summit Academy Transitions High School serves students in grades 9-12. Our school will address the academic and social needs of all high school students and we specialize in students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD) and/or Asperger’s Disorder. We are guided by the belief that every child can learn, given the proper instructional environment. We will adhere to the theory of multiple intelligences in concept and in instructional design. We educate all students in a small group learning environment. Each classroom has fifteen students to two highly qualified teachers. School begins at 7:45 a.m. daily and ends at 2:45 p.m. Our students are offered a variety extracurricular activities such as chess club, book club, art club and student council. Our courses follow that State of Ohio education learning standards and all of teachers are highly qualified to teach their respective subjects. Summit Academy also provides all of our students with Gym and Art in addition to our renowned martial arts program that serves as a foundation for our program. Summit Academy Columbus is currently accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year.
